Event Coordinator | Glasshouse, Auckland

Glasshouse is looking for an organised, detail-focused and motivated Event Coordinator to join the team in a full-time role. Working closely with the Venue Manager, you’ll support the planning and delivery of weddings, corporate functions, milestone celebrations and large-scale events. From the initial enquiry through to delivery on the day, you’ll help ensure every detail is planned, communicated and executed to a high standard.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Event or Functions Coordinator, a current Functions Supervisor, or someone with at least 1–2 years’ experience who is ready to take the next step. The role Coordinate event enquiries, bookings and administration Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements Prepare run sheets, timelines and detailed event plans Coordinate requirements with venue, kitchen and operational teams Liaise with vendors, suppliers and internal stakeholders Maintain clear and professional client communication Support event setup, service and delivery on the day Manage payments and follow up on outstanding accounts Help create memorable experiences that encourage repeat business About you Previous experience in functions, events or hospitality Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Confident and professional communication skills Comfortable managing multiple events and competing priorities Strong understanding of hospitality and food and beverage operations Calm, solutions-focused and confident working under pressure Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends when events require Current NZ LCQ or relevant hospitality qualifications would be advantageous Why join us?
