Global Financial Crimes Compliance (“GFCC”) is seeking an analyst to join the Risk Assessment and Program Governance (“RPG”) team, which oversees the execution of BBH’s Anti-Money laundering (“AML”) and Sanctions Program.

RPG responsibilities are wide-ranging and include conducting BBH’s money laundering and and sanctions risk assessment; updating policies and procedures; drafting training content; ongoing quality testing of the AML and sanctions processes; quarterly and annual reporting to management; and audit and regulatory exam coordination. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who exhibits strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivery high-quality work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support the maintenance of existing policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with relevant AML and Sanctions laws and regulations, regulatory guidance and evolving best practices Support the execution of the AML and Sanctions risk assessment process Support the development and execution of the Firm’s annual AML and sanctions training modules Support the completion of external AML and sanctions due diligence requests from financial institution clients and counterparties, including coordinating, preparing, and tracking responses to ensure timely completion Assist with the coordination of internal audits, regulatory examinations, and other compliance reviews, including responding to information requests and maintaining supporting documentation Assist with the production of GFCC metrics and provide quarterly reporting materials to senior management committees Conduct research and analysis as needed of applicable BSA/AML and Sanctions related laws, regulations, and guidance as applicable to BBH’s AML Program Qualifications/Key Competencies: Bachelor’s degree 5+ years relevant experience Strong oral and written communications skills.

Communicate clearly and concisely, and appropriate to the audience Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization, within the department and in other related teams Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to analyze and organize data to support metrics, management reporting, and risk assessment Creative and effective problem solving and analytical skills pertaining to client, operational, or technical issues Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines This role is based in our New York City location and is a hybrid role, with a minimum of three days per week in office.

Salary Range $80k-$110k base salary + annual bonus target BBH and its affiliates' compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing.
