Job Description As Territory Manager, you will be responsible for delivering quarterly and annual territory targets for promoted products within BD by understanding the needs of our customers and positioning BD’s solution to meet those needs in a profitable manner. The product portfolio includes vascular access devices, prefilled syringes, and hypodermic products (syringes and safety needles). Key areas of focus within the hospital environment will be IV Leads, Theatres, ICU, Wards, ED, NPDU, Infection Prevention & Control and Procurement.
Main responsibilities will include: Understand customer goals & drivers to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships, positioning BD as the partner of choice. Proactively develop and implement territory plans for sustainable, long term sales success. Review and alter this plan in line with BD strategy & direction. Follow account management plan by area growth, to focus on top 5 accounts.
Effectively manage account priorities to position, sell & implement BD Added Value Services, where this offering will maximise sales opportunity. Effective delivery of BD Value Add Programmes Effective adoption of the BD Way of Selling methodology Conduct and manage product evaluations & processes as part of account conversion, with support from the Clinical Team where appropriate.
Work effectively with the Regional Business Manager, Country Business Leader, Clinical Consultant/Specialists, & Marketing team to maximize business potential. Achieves standards, expectations and performance as agreed with manager. Communication of market and competitor information. Effective and consistent use of the BD CRM system About you Understanding of sales data – skills to interpret sales trends, handle collection, collation and use of data to assist in account and territory analysis/planning Educated to degree level or equivalent Extensive sales experience with demonstrable record of success ideally in the Hospital/HSE/healthcare sales environment.
Able to demonstrate a good level of educational achievement. Highly motivated, action oriented, initiative taker and excellent organizational skills.
