This role is part of the Refining Supply & Midstream finance team, supporting the delivery of financial and operational insights by combining strong technical expertise with a growing understanding of business drivers.
It is a key role in enabling reporting, data reliability, and process standardization across Finance and Operations, while contributing to transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. In this role You will: Support the implementation and continuous improvement of strategic initiatives (e.g., IBP, CFIN), guiding the team on mapping business questions and decision points, and addressing system bugs or change requests in alignment with global design standards.
Ensure consistency, standardization, and alignment to established processes, promoting best practices across reporting and data management activities. Deliver and support live Operations MI use cases (including B2B, Logistics, Supply operations, etc.), responding to evolving business requirements with timely and accurate outputs. Develop and maintain a solid understanding of key data sources (FEM, PCA, FBW), ensuring integrity, reconciliations, and effective use in performance analysis.
Collaborate closely with regional and global teams (primarily in finance and technology) to support Deals analysis, benchmarking, and B2B reporting, contributing to consistent and aligned insights. Provide support to ICM development and enhancements, helping address emerging business needs through scalable and effective technical solutions. Manage and support the unified data hub in Azure, including data transformation processes, ensuring data availability, reliability, and quality.
Drive automation and simplification initiatives, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency across reporting and analytics workflows. What You will need to be successful: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Solid understanding of data structures, financial reporting, and performance management processes Technical proficiency in data platforms (e.g., Azure, data hubs, transformation tools) Ability to work flexibly in occasional shifts supporting US businesses (15:00-23:30 CET)!
