Work is onsite in Dallas, TX area; applicants must be in the area or willing to relocate to it. You will gain exposure to systems engineering principles and understand how software fits into the bigger picture of product development. Work in a hands-on engineering environment where you can turn classroom knowledge into real solutions. Take ownership of your own project tasks or subprojects, with mentorship from experienced engineers.
Participate in key software lifecycle activities, including code reviews, documentation, testing, and validation. Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products. What You Will Learn How to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional engineering teams. How to identify and drive continuous improvement in both products and processes.
How to develop and maintain large-scale, complex software solutions in an agile environment. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). Familiarity in developing, testing, and integrating software applications written in C++ or closely related software languages. Familiarity with computer scripting languages such as Python.
Qualifications We Prefer A self-starter who enjoys hands-on problem solving and has a passion for C++ and Python development. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Familiarity with Linux, Scrum/Agile, DevSecOps, Git/GitLab. Familiarity working with physical hardware.
