Workday HCM Project Manager

At Houston Methodist, the Workday HCM Project Manager position is responsible for planning, leading, and coordinating medium to large-scale Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) projects and initiatives of varying complexity. This position provides end-to-end project management for Workday enhancements, optimization efforts, and other HR technology initiatives, ensuring project objectives are achieved within established scope, timelines, budgets, and organizational requirements.

The Workday HCM Project Manager partners closely with HR, Information Technology, operational stakeholders, Workday functional and technical teams, and third-party vendors to develop and execute comprehensive project plans, manage dependencies, risks, issues, resources, and deliverables, and facilitate effective decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. The position applies established project management methodologies, Workday implementation practices, and organizational governance standards to ensure the quality, integrity, and successful delivery of project outcomes.

 FLSA STATUS Exempt QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline with an information technology focus.

EXPERIENCE Three years successful experience in implementing medium to large scale and complexity projects, preferably in a healthcare environment.
