Fuller’s Internship Program: You’ll be joining a cohort of talented students from a variety of schools across the U.S. We hire interns in the following positions: Process Engineering, R&D, Strategic Sourcing, Technical Sales, Supply Chain, Product Marketing, Information Technology, and more. You’ll be supported by your Manager and Mentor to gain in-depth knowledge of the adhesive industry and collaborate with various departments and functions. Location: Simpsonville, SC Department: Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Our  Internship Experience  includes:  12-week paid program beginning the end of May to mid-August to gain insight and knowledge in your field.

Position Summary The EHS Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting environmental, health, and safety initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

This role provides exposure to safety management systems, training development, auditing processes, continuous improvement projects, and EHS compliance activities. The intern will work alongside experienced EHS, operations, maintenance, and engineering professionals while contributing to meaningful projects that help create a safer and more sustainable workplace. Primary Responsibilities Support the implementation and rollout of contractor management processes through Benchmark or similar EHS management systems.

Convert standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions into interactive training and assessment modules using EZ Generator and the Learning Center platform. Assist with EHS-related capital projects by gathering vendor quotes, developing project specifications, and supporting project documentation and approval processes. Develop and enhance Safety Huddle materials, including converting safety videos, creating policy voiceovers, and designing interactive safety awareness content such as "What's Wrong with This Picture?" exercises.

Lead EHS-focused Gemba audits throughout the facility, document findings, and enter results into Benchmark and the Work Order Management System (Managers+). Collaborate with production associates, maintenance technicians, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and small Kaizen projects. Assist with day-to-day environmental, health, and safety activities to help promote a safe and compliant workplace.

Minimum Qualifications Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related EHS-focused field. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
