Interns typically work a full-time schedule throughout a 10-12 week assignment during the summer of 2027.
This position is limited to working 899 hours per service credit year. Applications on this requisition are reviewed during the Q4 2025 for Summer 2027 internships. The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As an Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by: Provide engineering support for existing operations in the manufacturing facility. Lead/Support Continuous Improvement Projects to identify improvement opportunities for cost, service, inventory and execute improvement plans. Participating in continuous improvement projects, experiments, and kaizen events Troubleshoot various manufacturing issues in dealing with label and industrial problems, identify causes and implement solutions throughout the entire manufacturing workflow.
Document per GMP practices and Regulatory standards. This may include validations, technical reports, nonconforming product reports, corrective and preventative actions, etc. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or higher from an accredited institution Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Previous internship experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-starter with the ability to work on a wide range of technical challenges.
