ICS Telecommunication Protege Trainee (Ref. No. R0144068 ) at our location in Kuala-Lumpur Main Tasks and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities) Telecommunications Engineer for projects in the railway industry Network Design, Development, and Testing: Assist in developing technical solutions for communications backbone networks, including switches, routers, firewalls, fiber optics, and UTP cables.
Create diagrams and visual representations of network architectures using tools like AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, or similar software. Participate in the testing and validation of network designs to ensure performance and reliability. Contribute to the development and documentation of network configurations. Technical Bid Support: Assist in preparing tender and proposal documentation for submission to customers, focusing on the technical aspects.
Review bid requirements and contribute to the development of technical proposal outlines, templates, and compliance matrices. Conduct research on industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in communications networks to enhance proposal content. Gather relevant technical information to support the development of innovative and compliant solutions.
