We are looking for a Software Engineer Expert to join the Hitachi Vantara   Product   Engineering team. This team   assist   in developing and testing   VSP One File Solutions . ( https://www.hitachivantara.com/en-us/products/storage/network-attached-storage-platform.html )   The Role   An ideal candidate will understand the full software development process and contribute across the entire development and testing cycle.

This includes working as part of an agile team to build high-quality software and unit tests. A successful candidate must have a proven track record of delivering complex software solutions, and a demonstrable understanding of the networking protocols like SMB and NFS . This role will include the following:    Design , development and maintenance of network storage and orchestration products    Working with test engineers to ensure automated test regression coverage   What you will bring:   This role   will   include the following :   Desig n, develop and   maintain   storage interface and orchestration products   Strong C / C++   experience in developing   h igh -performance software for   storage   systems   and hardware-based file systems   Demonstrated experience in developing Linux distribution-related work   Strong experience in networking protocol s is a must including   NFS , SMB   file-sharing , one or more   of the storage systems and management high availability   systems is a plus     Work with test engineers to ensure automated   test   regression coverage   Python experience   is added benefit   Strong C/C++ experience in developing high-performance data path software for storage systems and file systems    De monstrated experience in developing Linux distribution-related work    Strong experience in networking protocols is a must including NFS or SMB file-sharing, one or more of the storage protocols; and management high availability systems is a plus   Work with support engineers to diagnose and resolve escalated customer issues   Experience of programming in a multi-threaded environment   Experience with one or more of the following: File systems, TCP/IP, NFS, CIFS/SMB, FTP, HTTP, iSCSI, Kerberos, LDAP   Python experience is added benefit    Scrum master or product owner experience or certification is a plus   #LI-PN1 About us We’re a global team of innovators.
