Job Title: Part-Time Hotel Bartender (Lobby Bar) Location: Homewood Suites New Orleans French Quarter Status: Part-Time (approx. 15–20 hours/week) About the Role We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Bartender to join our team and operate our lobby bar experience. This role is ideal for someone looking for a set part-time schedule with additional coverage opportunities. Our lobby bar is a dedicated dry-bar setup with fully disposable service.

Service focuses on a streamlined, low-complexity beverage menu: beer, wine, canned craft cocktails, and simple mixed drinks. Schedule Set Shifts: Every Sunday and Monday (4:00 PM – 9:00 PM) Alternating Shifts: Every other Saturday (4:00 PM – 10:00 PM) Flexibility: Must be available to fill in for other shifts as needed. Operating Hours Reference: Sun–Thurs 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Fri–Sat 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM Key Responsibilities Bar Setup & Breakdown: Complete daily pre-shift setup (stocking ice, disposable cups, napkins, garnishes, and inventory) and post-shift breakdown, trash removal, sanitizing, and securing all product at closing.

Beverage Service: Serve beer, wine, and simple, low-prep cocktails to hotel guests in disposable drinkware in accordance with brand standards. Guest Experience: Deliver a warm, welcoming "Homewood" experience, offering local recommendations and friendly hospitality. Inventory & Ice Management: Transport ice, disposable stock, and beverage inventory to the bar area, monitor product levels throughout the shift, and ensure the bar is fully prepped for the next day.

Compliance & Safety: Rigorously verify guest IDs, maintain strict adherence to Louisiana alcohol service laws, and keep the service counter clean, sanitized, and organized. Qualifications & Requirements Age: Must be 21 years of age or older. Certifications: Active State of Louisiana Responsible Vendor (RV) Server Card / City Permit required prior to start date. Knowledge: Basic understanding of beer, wine, and simple cocktail service.

Physical Demands: Ability to transport ice buckets/beverage crates (up to 30–40 lbs) and stand for the full duration of the shift.
