As an Oil Movements Student, you will gain hands-on experience supporting refiner y operations in the Oil Movements and Product Loading areas. You will be working alongside experienced professionals in the Wastewater Treatment Unit (WWTU), tank field, and flare area. You'll build practical skills through a mix of field and office work, including environmental monitoring, data analysis, process trending, reporting, and water quality testing.
The Oil Movements and Product Loading team s play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible operation of refinery systems. The team s sit within our Refinery Operations business group, where you'll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while developing valuable industry experience and technical knowledge. Responsibilities: Conduct routine monitoring and inspections of the Wastewater Treatment Unit (WWTU), tank field, and flare area.
Support environmental compliance activities, including water quality testing and bioassays. Collect, analyze, and track operational data to support process performance and improvement initiatives in the Product Loading and Oil Movements areas . Prepare monthly reports and maintain accurate operational and environmental records. Collaborate with OM and PLA operations to support safe and reliable refinery operations.
Participate in both field and office-based projects while adhering to all health, safety, and environmental requirements. Your Skills : Safety as-a-way-of-life mindset Ability to work within a team environment and meet deadlines Problem solving skills to s upport operational and process improvements. An interest and ability to i nterpret data and identify trends.
