As an Order to Cash – Credit Granting Student, you will support credit management activities across a variety of business channels in North America. You’ll gain exposure to credit granting, recovery, and accounts receivable processes, and learn how to assess financial risk, manage customer portfolios, and contribute to working capital strategies. This role offers a dynamic learning experience in evaluating creditworthiness, setting terms, and supporting internal stakeholders in resolving payment and account issues.
The Credit Granting Team is responsible for adjudicating credit risk across all business lines in Canada, the U.S., and the Whitegate Refinery. The team works to protect the company from financial exposure by evaluating customer creditworthiness and structuring deals that align with risk tolerance—such as adjusting payment terms or securing guarantees. The team is based out of Irving Oil’s Home Office and sits within our Cash Management department.
