JOB SUMMARY: Preparing, instructing, and grading all class coursework; Using college and publisher LMS platforms; Assigning final grades and recording attendance; Communicating with students in a timely manner SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Instructing assigned classes; Grading all quizzes, tests, and written assignments; Assigning final grades and delivering grades and grade justification sheets; Maintaining a safe and effective classroom environment; Responding to student inquiries regarding course content, grading, and other academic concerns.
Collaborating with department colleagues as necessary;; Completing other duties and responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required : Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in Psychology, or a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate hours in Psychology. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; Proven teaching skills with the ability to convey basic concepts and theories in a practical and comprehensible way; Ability to recognize and to respond to students from culturally diverse backgrounds as well as the willingness to make students active part
