Position Overview: The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of construction execution for a mixed-use development project in Dubai, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires comprehensive coordination of multiple disciplines including residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality components while maintaining compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and international best practices.
Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day construction operations across all phases from mobilization through handover Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using appropriate construction management software, coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure milestone achievement Establish project governance structures and reporting protocols aligned with client requirements and organizational standards Serve as primary point of contact between the client, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors Administer construction contracts in accordance with FIDIC or other applicable contract frameworks Coordinate with main contractors and specialty subcontractors across multiple building types and systems Facilitate regular progress meetings and maintain clear communication channels with all project participants Enforce quality control procedures and conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and building codes Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies Monitor site health and safety compliance, ensuring contractor adherence to Dubai Municipality and client safety standards Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Minimum 5-8 years of construction project management experience with at least 5 years on large-scale mixed-use developments Demonstrated experience managing projects valued at AED 500M+ in the UAE or GCC region Proven track record delivering complex multi-discipline projects involving coordination of residential towers, retail podiums, and associated infrastructure Valid UAE driving license Desired Skills and Competencies: Professional certifications such as PMP, RICS, or equivalent are highly preferred Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, building systems, and sequencing for mixed-use developments Proficiency in construction management software including Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost control systems Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, UAE building codes, and international standards Excellent problem-solving skills with capacity to make sound decisions under pressure Outstanding communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is advantageous Location: On-site –Dubai, ARE If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
