This is a permanent position represented by the   Service Employees International Union (SEIU) . This position follows a hybrid work model. Onsite presence will be required when business or operational needs are best supported in person, such as collaboration, training, or work that requires access to onsite resources. Employees approved to work remotely must have a reliable and secure internet connection and maintain a professional work environment that supports productivity.

While working remotely, employees are expected to maintain the same level of performance, responsiveness, communication, and availability as they would in the office. What you will do! The primary aim of this role is to support grant making, reporting and monitoring processes for the Office of Education Innovation and Improvement, including, but not limited to, the continued implementation of the Student Investment Account (HB 3427), High School Success, Federal School Improvement (ESEA/ESSA), and Early Literacy Success (HB 3198).

Typical duties include:     Monitor grantee reporting, budget expenditures, and program data to assess progress towards outcomes and adherence to requirements. Provide technical assistance to grantees and district personnel on reporting systems (e.g. grant management system, Smartsheet, dashboards) and grant requirements. Develop and refine operational guidelines, procedures, and internal monitoring systems to ensure consistency across programs.

Review and approve grantee plans, budgets, plan changes to ensure allowable use of funds and alignment with program requirements. Minimum Qualifications (required)   A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioural or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years experience coordinating or administering a program   OR   Any combination of experience or education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.
