Job Description Finance Lead - Brazil About the Role We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Lead - Brazil to provide financial leadership for one of our most important markets in Latin America. The Finance Lead will serve as a trusted business partner to the Country Leadership Team and will play a critical role in ensuring business continuity, financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, and value creation during a period of significant organizational change.
This executive will be responsible for leading all finance activities across Brazil, supporting a business with approximately US$200 million in annual revenue , while facilitating integration readiness, change management, and alignment with future organizational objectives. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future finance organization in Brazil, supporting both ongoing business operations and strategic initiatives.
The successful candidate will lead a team of five finance professionals responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Internal Controls, and Compliance , while collaborating extensively with Global, Regional, Shared Services, Centers of Excellence, and Corporate Finance teams. In addition, this individual will be expected to provide leadership regarding the implications of Brazil's ongoing Tax Reform, ensuring business readiness and compliance as the country transitions to the new indirect tax framework (CBS, IBS and Selective Tax), while identifying operational, financial, pricing, and working capital opportunities and risks arising from these changes.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership Act as a key member of the Brazil Leadership Team, providing financial and strategic guidance to support business growth and sustainable value creation. Partner with commercial, market access, supply chain, medical, and support functions to influence critical business decisions. Provide financial leadership, supporting integration planning, organizational alignment, and finance transformation initiatives.
Lead cross-functional projects at local, regional, and global levels, extending beyond traditional finance responsibilities when required. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, balancing strategic priorities with a strong governance and compliance mindset. Financial Stewardship & Performance Management Lead all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and performance management.
Monitor business performance against financial targets and recommend timely corrective actions. Drive resource allocation decisions and profitability improvements through robust financial analysis. Support pricing strategy, reimbursement negotiations, and portfolio optimization decisions through financial insights. Ensure effective working capital management, with particular focus on receivables, inventory optimization, and cash flow generation.
Accounting, Controls & Compliance Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP, local statutory requirements, and company policies. Maintain a robust internal control environment and ensure ongoing compliance with all corporate governance standards. Oversee all end-to-end accounting processes, including AtR (Account-to-Report), OtC (Order-to-Cash), and StS (Source-to-Settle).
Ensure efficient collaboration with Shared Service Centers and Global Finance organizations. Tax Leadership & Regulatory Readiness Ensure full compliance with Brazilian corporate, indirect, payroll, and transfer pricing tax requirements. Lead the company's preparation for and adaptation to Brazil's Tax Reform framework, assessing impacts on business models, supply chain structures, pricing strategies, ERP systems, reporting processes, and operating margins.
