Knowlton School of Architecture at The Ohio State University seeks forward-looking candidates for the Howard E. LeFevre ’29 Fellowship. The LeFevre Fellowship is a two-year appointment for an emerging architect to develop an ambitious research project addressing contemporary questions in architecture. While at the Knowlton School, the fellow will have the opportunity to pursue focused research alongside related teaching and public programming.
Intended to support work that expands the boundaries of the discipline, the fellowship provides access to research support, fabrication and exhibition facilities, focused teaching assignments, and an intellectually engaged community of colleagues committed to experimentation. Past LeFevre Fellows have pursued widely varied forms of architectural research, including work in emerging media and technologies, experimental material assemblies, architectural history and theory, and climate-responsive design.
