Azure Cloud Systems Engineer

Azure Cloud Systems Engineer Location: Suitland, MD Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI Leidos is seeking an Azure Cloud Systems Engineer in Suitland, MD to design, implement, and maintain enterprise Azure architecture supporting Zero Trust tools, identity services, and security monitoring platforms . Primary Responsibilities: Engineer Azure resource groups, subscriptions, networking, virtual machines, identity integrations, and cloud baselines.

Design hybrid-cloud integration supporting on-premises and cloud-based Zero Trust platforms. Provide cloud architecture documentation, diagrams, integration schemas, and operational support. Implement automation, monitoring, security baselines, and cloud compliance standards. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, MIS, or in a related discipline with 8+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.

Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Active TS/SCI security clearance. 7+ years Azure engineering experience, including automation and cloud-native architectures. 5+ years Cloud platform management, deployment, and monitoring (AWS, Azure). Skilled with PowerShell, Python, ARM/Bicep, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience supporting RMF and cloud security compliance.
