Job Description: At Leonardo in Yeovil we are looking for a Contracts Officer to join our team at the Home of British Helicopters. This is a hybrid role with some days required on site. Your impact In this role you'll be a key part of the Contract Management team, supporting multi-million pound contracts and helping deliver critical projects. You'll manage contract administration, support proposal activity, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our contracts are executed effectively.
What you’ll do as Contracts Officer: Draft and prepare internal approvals, contracts and other agreements Support the provision of customer proposals and contract amendments Execute all commercial aspects of the contract Monitor and report the progress of key contract obligations, including contract deliverables and cash Proactively resolve contract issues and provide contract advice to internal functions Contribute to the identification and resolution of contract risks and opportunities and business improvement/transformation initiatives Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external Customers that enable effective working What you’ll bring: Background in Aerospace or Defence (or similar environments) Experience in contract management, administration, or commercial roles Strong communication skills and the ability to provide contract advice Proven knowledge of contract terms, pricing and SAP/MS Office tools Pro-active approach to resolving contract issues and identifying improvement opportunities For awareness of internal applicants, this is a level 4 role.

Security Clearance This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
