A day in the life. The Senior Product Manager, IT drives the strategy, roadmap and delivery of core IT products and platforms that enable business processes, operational excellence, and security across the organization. This role partners closely with stakeholders across IT and the business to define value-driven product initiatives, prioritize work, and ensure successful implementation and adoption.
The Senior Product Manager combines technical fluency, customer-focused product thinking, and strong delivery leadership to maximize product outcomes and measurable business impact. Key Responsibilities Define and own product vision, strategy and multi-year roadmap for assigned IT platforms (e.g., identity & access management, digital workplace, enterprise integrations, data platforms, security tooling, cloud platform services).
Translate business needs and technical constraints into clear product requirements, user stories and prioritized backlogs. Lead product planning and prioritization using data, stakeholder inputs and business value to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Partner with engineering, architecture, security, operations, vendor partners and business SMEs to deliver high-quality releases on time and on budget.
Act as product owner in Agile delivery teams: clarify scope, accept deliverables, manage sprint priorities and remove blockers. Drive product adoption and change management through stakeholder engagement, communications, training plans and measurement. Define and monitor product success metrics (KPIs), use analytics to inform decisions, and report product performance to leadership. Manage vendor relationships and third-party product lifecycle where applicable, including requirements, RFPs, contract alignment and performance reviews.
Ensure product designs meet security, compliance, privacy and accessibility standards and contribute to risk mitigation activities. Mentor and coach junior product managers and contribute to product management best practices and governance across IT. Our future colleague. 5+ years of product management experience in IT or technology environments, with demonstrated ownership of enterprise IT products or platforms. Proven track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder IT initiatives from discovery through production. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies and modern cloud-native architectures . Experience working with technical teams (engineering, architecture, security) and translating technical concepts for business stakeholders.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. Data-driven decision-making skills; experience defining and tracking KPIs and using analytics to inform prioritization. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree (MBA, MS) or relevant certifications (CSPO, PMP, Pragmatic Institute, SAFe /Product Owner). Experience with
