Description of Work Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (BMNTC) is seeking a full-time Administrative Specialist II to support the Maintenance and Environmental Services Departments. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth, efficient operations by coordinating procedures, managing administrative workflows, and helping maintain consistent, high-quality maintenance services across all residential units and support buildings at BMNTC.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Recruitment Range: $41,206.00 - $56,660.00 Salary Range: $41,206.00 - $72,113.00 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred: Prior Knowledge of director level administrative support and tasks and that include office procedures with a high level of skill utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to plan, prioritize, organize and review administrative and program workflow and procedures. Ability to learn, interpret and analyze applicable program content and make necessary decisions, interpret and explain policies. Ability to promote and create a workplace culture of teamwork and respectful collaboration. Ability to work with a variety of management styles to achieve goals of the Maintenance and Environmental Services Departments and to identify needs of management and be proactive to ensure positive outcomes.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.
ABOUT BLACK MOUNTAIN NEURO-MEDICAL TREATMENT CENTER Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center is one of three state operated facilities serving adults with chronic and complex medical conditions that co-exist with neurodevelopmental or neurocognitive disorders often related to a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness or intellectual disability. The health and physical status of these residents require 24-hour supervision, daily nursing care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
