Description of Work Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (BMNTC) is seeking a dependable and motivated General Utility Worker/Groundskeeper to join our Maintenance Department. This position plays an important role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of our facility’s grounds and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Include: Performing routine care and maintenance of lawns, shrubs, trees, and flowerbeds.
Applying appropriate quantities of fertilizers and pesticides to ensure healthy, attractive grounds. Assisting with underground repairs to service lines, including water, sewer, and steam systems, and maintaining underground manholes. Supporting general maintenance and repair of groundskeeping and maintenance equipment. Assisting with various maintenance department duties such as basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and wall patching (both old and new surfaces).
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Range: $31,200.00 - $46,991.00 The state of North Carolina offers excellent comprehensive benefits. The health and physical status of these residents require 24-hour supervision, daily nursing care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
