Your day at NTT DATA The Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Finance function across financial reporting, tax compliance, audit management, treasury activities, and business operations.
This role is responsible for helping ensure regulatory compliance, supporting month-end close activities, managing financial reporting requirements, and providing financial insights that support effective decision-making across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Business leaders to support the organisation's continued growth while strengthening financial controls, compliance, cash flow management, and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities: Support VAT return preparation, filing activities, query management, and audit requirements. Assist with Corporate Tax preparation, compliance activities, and regulatory reporting requirements Support UAE E-Invoicing implementation and ongoing compliance obligations. Participate in monthly close activities and support preparation of financial reports and management reporting packs.
Prepare and maintain BPC schedules, balance sheet schedules, and related financial reconciliations. Monitor and manage unbilled revenue, GRIR balances, and deferred revenue schedules. Support internal and external audit activities, including audit preparation, documentation gathering, and issue resolution. Assist with treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning. Support Accounts Payable activities, vendor statement reconciliations, payment planning, and financial controls.
Prepare financial analysis, management reports, and ad-hoc business reporting as required. Support budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and business performance reviews. Assist with ICV reporting, renewals, improvement initiatives, and government compliance requirements. Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, strengthen controls, and increase operational efficiency. Support the business in managing increasing transaction volumes while ensuring continued compliance with internal and external requirements.
Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned by the management team. To thrive in this role, you need to have: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices. Good knowledge of VAT, Corporate Tax, and regulatory compliance requirements within the UAE. Understanding of month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial controls. Knowledge of treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management.
Experience supporting internal and external audit engagements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to analyse financial data and provide meaningful business insights. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across multiple business functions. Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working within an international business environment is advantageous. Academic qualifications and certifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or a related discipline. Professional accounting or finance qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent would be advantageous.\ UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, or related compliance certifications would be beneficial.
