Job Description As a Technician Site Engineering II , you will support the maintenance and reliability of equipment, systems, and facilities. More focusing on electrical installations and calibrations. Your responsibilities will include coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and supporting commissioning and qualification activities for site projects in line with applicable regulations, internal requirements, and business objectives.
Your key responsibilities: Plan and coordinate maintenance and calibration activities for equipment and systems. Prepare and maintain technical and maintenance documentation. Ensure the availability of spare parts, tools, and materials needed for maintenance work. Support preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable operation of equipment and facilities. Maintain accurate maintenance records and data in systems such as SAP.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues. Identify and propose technical improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability. Support compliance with HSE, quality, and audit requirements, and contribute to project, commissioning, and qualification activities. What you will bring to the role: Secondary school degree in technical sciences (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics).
Experience desired, preferably in pharmaceutical/chemical industry. Basic knowledge of English is an advantage and proficient in local language. What we offer: Job location: Ljubljana Contract type: permanent with a six-month probation period Expected weekly working hours: 40 *Pay range: €23,120 – €34,680 gross yearly * Salary at Sandoz is based on job level, qualifications, specific skills, and work experience.
Fully proficient candidates are usually placed around the market median, less experienced candidates lower in the range, and those with strong or niche expertise higher. When determining placement within the range, we also consider internal pay equity and external market data. Our compensation package additionally includes: Annual bonus (STI): percentage of annual salary. Vacation allowance: in 2026 it was €2,450.00 net.
Christmas bonus: in 2025 it was €2,100 gross. OurShare: every year, an employee of Lek d.d. will be entitled to receive shares of Sandoz AG. Voluntary Additional Pension Scheme: The company fully covers the contribution for your supplementary pension plan, amounting to 5.844% of your gross salary (the maximum annual amount is 3,224.18 EUR).
