Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution, dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking applicants to join our dynamic faculty for a full-time non-tenure track faculty appointment as an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the Master's in Occupational Therapy Program .

This position has an anticipated start date of January 2026 and will have 5 0% time dedicated to the role as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator . We are seeking talented candidates to p rovide clinically focused learning opportunities for students . The successful candidate will be expected to teach in an area of expertise, engage in scholarship , and provide service to the Department, College, and/or University.

Primary academic fieldwork coordinator responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :    Collaboration with faculty to ensure the fieldwork program reflects the sequence and   scope of curricular content to design fieldwork experiences strengthening the ties between   didactic and fieldwork education   Match ing and assign ing students to fieldwork placements and advise students of the overall fieldwork (Level I and Level II) process and program   Communication with students and fieldwork educators related to student progress and   performance during fieldwork experiences   Represent ing the Program at various trainings, meetings, conferences, and clinical site visits     The Master’s in Occupational Therapy Program is housed with in the Doisy College of Health Sciences (DoisyCollege.slu.edu).

Faculty have access to classrooms and laboratories with state-of-the-art teaching and research technologies. Fieldwork coordination responsibilities are supported by staff in both the department and Dean’s office re lated to site identification and management of contracts. The Paul C. Reinert, S.J. Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning provides faculty resou r c es t o a ss i st in designing meaningful and engaging classroom experiences.

The competitive total compensation package includes tuition remission for qualified personnel and a generous retirement plan. Rank and salary are dependent on qualifications and experience. Position Requirements   Required   Minimum of a master’s degree   Licensed occupational therapist with at least five years of practice experience   At least three years of experience as a fieldwork educator for Level I and/or Level II fieldwork   and/or instructing students in a classroom or lab environment at the college or university level.

Currently licensed as a n occupational therapist or eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri   Evidence of c urrent content expertis e includi ng clinical education   Evidence of teaching experience (e.g., course instructor, continuing education, conference presentations)   Served as a clinical instructor and/or s ite c oordinator of c linical e ducation     Preferred   Terminal doctoral degree : Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) or academic doctoral degree (e.g., Ph.D., Sc.D., Ed.D.)   Evidence of University teaching experience (e.g., course coordinator, laboratory instructor, or lecturer)   Record of peer-reviewed scholarship     Department
