JOB PURPOSE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Key Responsibilities The person will be responsible for coordinating all the engineering activities on specific customer SCR applications both in development and production, be the customer technical interface, and represent engineering in cross functions teams in whole project lifetime.
Conduct core development in urea PSM (Pumping Supply Module) and Doser . Manage the Engineering activities to ensure alignment with overall project timing and manage the escalation and resolution within Engineering. Lead technical communication with the customers to ensure customer technical requirements are understood and resolve any technical roadblocks. Communicate effectively, develop & conduct regular technical presentations internally, and to PHINIA customers.
Prepare and own customer-related documents such as validation reports, customer specific DFMEA reviews etc. Agree SCR packaging with the customer and ensure interface drawings are released with correct CI/QC & KPC definition, Define prototype definition (BOM) for all development and PPAP samples. Lead and apply PDP process for Design Reviews and represent engineering in Gate Reviews Prepare minutes/action plans following meetings to ensure all affected teams are always known of progress.
Regular travel will be required for customer meetings, onsite testing and problem solving, hot or cold trips. Make sure travel report is delivered on time. Be positive, encourage, coach & share knowledge with all CR SCR cross functional teams. To observe and practice all applicable company policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Support SCR component development and validation package preparation.
Regular meeting with global teams to review technical reports. Comply with safety related regulations and rules; Complete all safety training; Participate in and be familiar with the company's emergency process; Achieve the company's safety KPI. What we’re looking for Bachelor’s or master’s degree on Mechanical /Electrical /Automotive/Engine (Required). Knowledge of Hydraulic /Mechanical /Sealing / Material (Required).
