The Role: We currently have a great new opportunity for an experienced Reception and Bookings Manager to join our team at Renacres Hospital, based in Ormskirk. As the Head of Department for Administration you are responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of Reception, Admissions, Outpatient Appointments (including electronic NHS referrals), and the main hospital switchboard. Working with the teams in each area and liaising with your clinical colleagues, you are responsible for ensuring processes are documented and followed correctly by all staff.

Experience, Skills & Attributes: Knowledge and experience of Electronic Patient Records system (Maxims or other) Knowledge and experience of patient bookings and schedule management Experience of managing a team and working with the consultant body Experience of dealing with large volumes of work with a degree of interruption Excellent organisational and planning skills Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines and targets.

Ability to manage a varied, unpredictable, and demanding workload. Ability to work under own initiative. Ability to work to a high level.
