Job Description Spider Management Company has two summer 2027 internship opportunities POSITION SUMMARY: Spider Management’s internship program is intended to expose sophomores and juniors at the University of Richmond to a wide range of strategies across the asset management industry. Spider Management Company (“Spider Management”) is the investment office for the University of Richmond and a select group of other non-profit organizations.

Spider Management’s 23-person team is split between Investments, Operations, and Investor Relations. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES : This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience across the organization’s three teams. Projects could include, but are not limited to, research, data collection and analysis on potential investments, report production, database management, compliance, and market analysis.

Candidates will attend team meetings, as well as have the opportunity to attend meetings with external investment managers across asset classes (meetings may be virtual or in-person). Candidates will also have the opportunity to take on ad-hoc projects to improve the team’s processes and/or explore select topics of interest for the purpose of presenting their findings to the team. Spider Management Pay Rate: $20 to $30 an hour. This is an 8 to 10-week part-time, temporary position, mid-May to mid-August 2027.
