These four entities are: Forestry & Utility Division Environmental Division Technology & Innovation Division Sustainability Division JOB SUMMARY: As an On-Call Archaeologist, you will support a variety of cultural resource projects across the Midwest region, with a strong focus on work within the states of Illinois and Indiana.

This position is not tied to a specific location, offering the opportunity to contribute to diverse field and research efforts throughout the broader region. Position will require outside travel JOB REQUIREMENTS: Holds a bachelor's degree in archaeology, anthropology, or related field: Proficient in prehistoric and/or historic archaeology in the Mid-west region Proficient in documenting archaeological sites and IOs/IFs in the Mid-west region Organized, motivated, thorough, accurate, dependable, and trustworthy Excellent navigational skills (GPS and compass) and ability to navigate and drive 4WD vehicles Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Proficiency using tablets (Apple iPad or Samsung Galaxy) to document cultural resources Proficiency with sub-meter GPS receiver Proficiency with ArcGIS Field Maps and Survey123 applications (for phone or tablet) Previous NHPA, NEPA, FERC, and/or other cultural or environmental trainings Strong writing and editing skills Ability to evaluate resources for NRHP-eligibility Eocene Environmental Group, Inc.
