Position Summary Primm Valley Casino Resorts is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support for the Human Resources Department. This position plays a vital role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, compliance, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
The Human Resources Coordinator serves as a trusted resource for team members while helping ensure compliance with company policies, federal and state employment laws, and Nevada gaming regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process. Prepare offer letters, background check documentation, and pre-employment paperwork. Conduct new hire orientation and facilitate the onboarding process to ensure positive employee experience.
Ensure all required hiring documents, employment forms, and compliance paperwork are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with employment verifications and onboarding follow-up activities. Human Resources Administration Maintain accurate employee personnel files and electronic HRIS records. Process employee status changes, transfers, promotions, wage adjustments, and separations. Track employee badges, gaming licenses, certifications, and other required credentials.
Assist with HR reporting, document retention, and departmental recordkeeping. Support payroll by ensuring employee information is complete and accurate. Employee Relations & Team Member Support Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, and HR programs. Assist with employee recognition, engagement activities, wellness initiatives, and special events.
Support HR leadership with employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation. Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information. Compliance & Training Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Maintain records required by Nevada gaming regulations and licensing requirements. Coordinate required compliance training, new hire training, and annual certification programs.
Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and HR compliance initiatives. General Administrative Support Prepare HR correspondence, reports, presentations, and other departmental communications. Assist with recruiting events, job fairs, career outreach, and employee appreciation programs. Order and maintain HR office supplies and departmental materials. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications Human Resources equivalent experience may be considered. One (1) to three (3) years of Human Resources, administrative, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Working knowledge of Human Resources principles, employment laws, and HRIS systems. Experience in hospitality, gaming, hotel, or resort operations is preferred. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
