Job description As an Application Support Analyst Intern at Thomson Reuters U.S. Inc., you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our critical applications. You will work closely with experienced analysts, gaining hands-on experience in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and supporting our internal and external users. Key Responsibilities Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues reported by users, escalating complex problems to senior team members.
Monitor application performance and identify potential issues proactively. Document support procedures, solutions, and frequently asked questions for knowledge base improvement. Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionalities and upcoming changes. Participate in testing new application features and updates. Provide timely and effective communication to users regarding issue status and resolution.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and tools. Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of software applications and operating systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) is a plus.
