United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the planning function on the landmark Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture Scheme, delivered in partnership with Eni as part of the UK's transition to Net Zero. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role on one of the country's most significant energy infrastructure projects. The Role Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead a team of planners and project controls professionals, ensuring the successful development, management, and delivery of integrated project programmes across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
You will act as the principal planning interface with Eni, providing programme leadership, performance reporting, risk analysis, and strategic planning support throughout the project lifecycle Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the project planning team. Own and maintain integrated project programmes using Primavera P6. Manage programme performance, critical path analysis, and recovery planning.
Provide forecasting, progress reporting, and schedule assurance. Work closely with project, engineering, commercial, and construction teams. Build and maintain strong relationships with Eni and key stakeholders. Identify programme risks and drive mitigation strategies. Support continuous improvement across planning and project controls functions. About You Proven experience in a senior Planning Manager or Programme Manager role.
Strong background in major infrastructure, energy, utilities, oil & gas, or EPC projects. Advanced Primavera P6 experience. Experience leading planning teams on complex, multi-disciplinary programmes. Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills. Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, risk management, and programme governance. Experience on Carbon Capture, Hydrogen, Pipeline, or Energy Transition projects.
