This position provides independent professional expertise in treatment planning, dose calculation, and quality assurance to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered radiation therapy. The physicist provides clinical coverage for photon and/or proton therapy services, including daily treatment support; commissioning, calibration, and routine and patient-specific quality assurance of treatment planning, delivery, and imaging systems; and maintenance of QA programs in accordance with AAPM, regulatory, and institutional standards.
