About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Repairer to join our container repair team. If you take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy seeing the results of your efforts, this is the role for you. Working alongside a skilled and supportive team, you'll repair, modify and maintain shipping containers, delivering safe, customer-ready products while developing valuable fabrication and repair skills.
What You'll Be Doing Welding, grinding and repairing damaged containers. Patching holes and carrying out structural repairs. Filling, sanding and preparing containers for painting. Replacing and repairing timber flooring. Repairing container doors, locks, hinges and seals. Operating tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop and yard. Contributing to a positive team environment and helping deliver quality products to customers What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is practical, reliable, and enjoys working in a team.
You’ll ideally bring: Previous experience in container repairs, metal fabrication, welding, maintenance, construction or a similar trade environment highly regarded. A strong focus on safety and quality workmanship. Experience using hand and power tools. Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. A reliable work ethic and positive attitude. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
