Job Description Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale Financial Crime, Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory data platforms. Drive modernization initiatives by migrating legacy data ecosystems to cloud-native and Databricks-based architectures. Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support data quality, scalability, governance, and long-term business objectives.
Partner with business leaders, product owners, engineering teams, and risk stakeholders to translate complex requirements into strategic technology solutions. Define enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and best practices for data ingestion, transformation, storage, lineage, governance, and consumption. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that improve performance, resiliency, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, Security, and Risk teams to build secure, highly available, and resilient data products and services. Mentor architects, engineers, and technical teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence. Basic Qualifications -Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience -At least 10 years experience with the concepts, philosophies and tools behind the design of applications, information and underlying information technologies.

Skills & Qualifications Enterprise Data Architecture expertise with large-scale data platforms supporting Financial Crime, AML, Fraud, Risk, Compliance, or Regulatory functions. Strong experience with Databricks , Apache Spark , Delta Lake , and modern Lakehouse Architecture patterns. Deep knowledge of Cloud Platforms including Azure , AWS , or hybrid cloud environments.
Expertise in Data Modeling , including conceptual, logical, and physical data design for complex enterprise ecosystems. Strong understanding of Data Governance , Metadata Management , Data Lineage , Data Quality , and regulatory compliance requirements. Strong expertise in modern Medallion Architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layer design patterns, is a valuable asset. Proficiency with SQL , Python , distributed data processing, and modern data integration frameworks.
Experience designing and implementing secure architectures using IAM , encryption, access controls, audit logging, and enterprise security frameworks. Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, communication, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence enterprise-level technology decisions. Location expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
