Our mission is to prepare students to win with integrity-in academics, in athletics and in life. Purpose: Texas Athletics Performance Nutrition is seeking passionate and growth-minded interns for the 2026 fall semester. Designed for applicants pursuing a career in nutrition and health promotion or operations within collegiate athletics, interns will be introduced to the foodservice aspects of sports nutrition including management of fueling station products and food safety.
Interns will report to the Assistant Sports Dietitian and the Nutrition Operations Manager. Responsibilities: Deliver product from central receiving to all athletics fueling station locations on assigned routes Assist with loading and unloading deliveries under the direction of the Operations Manager Perform vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any concerns Maintain product integrity (temperature, packaging, handling) during transit Communicate any delivery discrepancies or station concerns immediately to the Operations Manager Assist with food prep tasks as assigned — ServSafe certification required Fill stocking shifts as assigned — follow FIFO rotation standards at all times Complete basic station restocking tasks as assigned during delivery windows Support game-day setup, travel trunk packing, and breakdown as directed Perform other duties as assigned.

Annually obtain prior written approval and report all outside activities and outside income. Report knowledge of, or reasonable cause to believe, violation(s) of state or federal laws, policies, rules, or regulations of the University, SEC Conference, or NCAA to IA ARMCS or IA HR. Fully cooperate with any investigation by providing complete and accurate information when requested to do so by Texas Athletics and/or the NCAA and do not influence others in any way during an investigation.
