Team Name: Job Title: Content Operations Specialist Requisition ID: R028127 Job Description: JOB SUMMARY We're looking for a Content Operations Specialist (Contractor) to support the execution and delivery of China-specific World of Warcraft live operations initiatives. This role is responsible for implementing in-game and Battle.net commerce content, configuring products and rewards, managing DDS operational processes, and supporting content publishing across Blizzard's digital platforms.

As part of the Blizzard China team, you will work closely with franchise product managers, Live Ops, Battle.net platform teams, QA, engineering, and our publishing partner NetEase to ensure products, events, partnerships, and promotional campaigns are launched with accuracy, quality, and on-time execution. You'll own shop content configuration workflows for WoW, execute DDS configuration for all franchises, maintain operational documentation, coordinate across global and regional stakeholders, and help improve the internal tools and processes that power our live services.

This is a 12-month contractor position with renewal evaluated at the conclusion of each contract period. RESPONSIBILITIES Execute on the creation and configuration of products for the World of Warcraft Shop and other initiatives such as viewership incentives, commercial & brand partnerships, or special events Participate in the configuration of assets, associating game content with the back-end products that will unlock access to that content In conjunction with our product teams, maintain the World of Warcraft Shop schedule and layout configuration across all our active platforms Work with our content development team to manage and document the schedule for new product releases, initiatives, and endeavors Take ownership of China-specific product copy & 2D asset creation, which our publishing partner may provide Work alongside Live Ops, QA teams, and other relevant stakeholders to effectively triage and resolve issues occurring on the live version of World of Warcraft Work with our production team to iterate on and improve our internal tools & processes dedicated to content configuration and Shop management Maintain CN DDS operation process and execute the day to day implementation and routine reporting Oversee other Battle.net tools usage, e.g.

CMS for battle.net launcher. REQUIREMENTS Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese 3 years experience working in digital commerce, content operations, digital supply chains, or with digital products implementation and configuration Experience managing and updating shop content and campaigns under the direction of management Ability to work across time zones and cultures, with a global mindset. Ability to prioritize effectively under important deadlines, executing on projects’ implementation in a timely manner Attention to detail, can-do attitude, and a customer service mentality EXTRA POINTS: Experience with support on a live product or online game Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency with the MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Jira, Confluence, Autodesk Flow, or comparable applications Familiar with AI tools and experience in developing agentic workflow  Experience with Photoshop or similar graphic editing program
