We’re looking for an Application Specialist to join us in Istanbul, Türkiye , with frequent travel to customer sites. ZEISS Medical Technology provides innovative solutions for diagnosis, treatment, anterior segment surgery and posterior segment surgery. Our advanced technologies support healthcare professionals in delivering effective clinical outcomes while improving workflows and patient care.

Your Role As an Application Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the clinical application, user training and field implementation processes of ZEISS products. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, customers, distributors and internal teams to ensure the correct, safe and effective use of our solutions while contributing to customer satisfaction and commercial success. The role of Application Specialist will involve: Supporting the clinical application processes of new and existing products and carrying out training, demonstrations and field applications during product launches.

Planning and delivering theoretical and practical training programs for doctors, nurses, technicians and other healthcare professionals. Supporting the correct, safe and effective use of diagnostic, treatment and surgical systems. Coordinating demonstrations, workshops and clinical application activities in collaboration with relevant internal teams. Providing clinical and technical application support during congresses, workshops, demonstrations and other customer events.

Maintaining application-focused communication with healthcare professionals and key users and collecting clinical feedback. Gathering and analysing customer, user and clinical workflow feedback and sharing relevant insights with the responsible teams and managers. Supporting the preparation and updating of training materials, technical documentation and product-related content. Following up with customers after training activities and supporting the sustainable and effective use of ZEISS products.

Supporting the resolution of customer complaints from clinical and technical perspectives and communicating feedback to the relevant teams. Providing product, technical and strategic support to Sales teams. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, R&D and Finance teams. Providing product and application support to distributors and business partners.

Monitoring and reporting product and application performance regularly. Implementing approved clinical application standards in the field and monitoring compliance with these standards. Job Requirements Your Experience Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical engineering discipline. At least four years of experience in the medical device industry. Preferably experienced in clinical applications or field activities within refractive surgery.

Technical and clinical knowledge of surgical technologies and medical products. Good understanding of clinical environments and the working dynamics of healthcare professionals. Strong training, presentation and technical communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly. Strong project management, planning and organisational skills. Experience in data analysis and reporting.
