At Archive, we believe great products should live many lives. We build the technology that powers branded resale for some of the world's most beloved companies, including Lululemon, The North Face, New Balance, Dr. Martens, Peloton, and 50+ others. Our platform makes it easy for brands to keep products in circulation and for customers to shop secondhand with confidence. The secondhand market is growing three times faster than traditional retail and is projected to reach $350B globally by 2028.

We're building the infrastructure behind that shift, helping brands turn resale into a meaningful part of their business and helping consumers rethink how they shop. If you're excited to change consumer behavior for the better, we'd love to meet you. About the role… We're looking for a Business Development Representative who will both personally drive meaningful new pipeline and work with the broader team to level up how our entire outbound engine runs.

This is a rare blend of individual contribution and process innovation. You'll carry a personal pipeline target and partner closely across our sales and marketing teams. Together, you will own our top-of-funnel strategy and goals. Just as importantly, you'll partner to reinvent how we prospect — bringing an AI-first mindset to sourcing, research, messaging, and workflow so that our small team punches well above its weight.

This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing & RevOps and is fully remote, if located in Austin - we would expect you to come into our local coworking space 2 days a week. Responsibilities This is the top of Archive's revenue engine. Every new logo we win — Lululemon, The North Face, New Balance — started with someone opening the door. That's this role. Own the number. You'll carry a personal pipeline generation target and be jointly accountable with the team for the net new number overall — forecasting opportunity creation, calling it accurately, and keeping the team on pace.

Build relationships with world-class brands. You'll research, account plan, and open opportunities with an elite list of household names. We value depth over breadth: roughly 30 accounts a quarter, worked properly, beats a thousand sprayed sequences. Rebuild how we prospect, with AI. This is the half of the job that compounds. You'll use AI and LLMs to redesign how we source, research, prioritize, personalize, and sequence — testing, iterating, and doubling down on what works.

The goal isn't efficiency, it's leverage: a motion where you and the team put out the quality and the volume of a 3+ person BDR team, without losing the craft that makes outreach actually convert. Own the data and inform the stack. Everything tracked, documented, and flowing cleanly between tools. You'll demo new tools and make the call on what we add, consolidate, or cut. There are more tools than ever before, but the real magic is in your ability to creatively leverage these tools and know when to just show up as a human.

Partner across the go-to-market team. You'll work directly with the sales and marketing team as well as partnering with other teams across the org— refining the end-to-end sales process, building the prospecting workflow, and making sure the outreach engine is aimed at the right brands and capturing the right signals. Build momentum. You'll help shape our sales norms as the team grows, and take on — or invent — the projects that help Archive grow.

It's normal to have never built a motion like this before, you won’t be building it alone and we care more that you want to. Requirements You have 1-2+ years of sales development / outbound experience You've personally been a top-performing BDR/SDR and still love the craft of opening opportunities — you take pride in crafting campaigns and writing emails that convert. You have strong writing skills and can generate compelling, high-converting sales emails.

You’re collaborative and want to be part of an excellent team, hold yourself and others to high
