About KOHO We’re on a mission to make financial services better for every Canadian. That means no hidden fees, no predatory interest rates - just financial products designed to help our users spend smart, save more, and build real wealth. We’re a performance organization with a strong heart: we care deeply about outcomes, and everything ties back to our mission - to financially empower a generation of Canadians.

At KOHO, we’re not your average 9-5. We believe real impact comes from people who are trusted, empowered, and supported to do their best work - without sacrificing their lives to do it. We prioritize work-life integration, not just work-life balance. That means asynchronous collaboration, flexible hours, and a remote-first setup built around autonomy and high trust. KOHO is entering its next chapter - leaner, smarter, more AI-integrated.

We’re building for impact, not bureaucracy. If you thrive in environments that value clarity, ownership, and bold thinking, you’ll fit right in. About the Role KOHO is at an exciting time building an AI-native bank, and that takes a specific kind of team. We're evolving our People & Culture function to focus on People Enablement — built around performance, clarity and removing friction, with one goal: create the conditions for people to do the best work of their careers.

Talent Development is the capability layer of that model. We hold an uncompromising talent bar, and our work is building the conditions underneath it. We provide people with the context they need to perform from day one, develop our leaders to have the hard conversations, and provide support to help our employees get through obstacles blocking their performance. We do that two ways: dedicated in-house coaching available to every employee, and a portfolio of programs across leadership development, onboarding and enablement.

It's why KOHO was named one of the 2026 Best Workplaces™ for Professional Development by Great Place To Work®. We're looking for a highly motivated Talent Development Partner & Performance Coach to wear both hats. If you thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment of rapid growth, want real ownership of programs, and are excited to help drive a high performance culture, then we want to hear from you.

You'll carry your own roster of coaching clients, and help us evolve the practice as we grow it. Provide 1:1 coaching over video conference and maintain a client roster of 10–20 employees at a time across a range of departments and levels of seniority — from the Management team to entry level engineers and user success agents.

Co-create goals and a plan for each client, recommending resources and coaching frequency based on their needs, and track progress against those goals. Run triad coaching engagements between coach, manager and coachee together when requested, to align on performance and development plans.
