The school is committed to providing excellence in education through highly qualified faculty members with extensive backgrounds and experience.” Position Summary The School of Engineering and Computing invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Electrical Engineering at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, depending on qualifications and experience.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, maintain an active research profile, and engage with emerging technologies and methodologies. Responsibilities include undergraduate teaching, curriculum development, student mentorship, research, and institutional service, while contributing to a collaborative, inclusive, student-centered, and multicultural academic environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, student-centered undergraduate courses in Electrical Engineering and related disciplines.
Teach core and advanced topics such as electrical circuits, electronics, signals and systems, control systems, power systems, digital systems, communications, embedded systems, and automation. Develop and deliver hands-on laboratory experiences that integrate current technologies, industry standards, simulation tools, and practical engineering applications. Incorporate AI, emerging technologies, computational tools, and industry-standard engineering software into teaching, laboratories, and research.
Develop, review, and continuously improve curricula, course materials, laboratory activities, and assessment strategies in alignment with industry and accreditation standards. Collaborate with faculty, industry partners, and professional organizations on teaching, research, innovation, and interdisciplinary initiatives. Support ABET and other regional and international accreditation, program assessment, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities.
Required Qualifications PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution. Minimum 5 years of university-level teaching experience, with demonstrated excellence in Electrical Engineering education. Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of Electrical Engineering, with strong knowledge of fundamental engineering principles.
Proficiency with relevant engineering software, simulation platforms, programming tools, and laboratory technologies. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with strong interpersonal, organizational, advising, and mentoring abilities. Preferred Qua
