About the role The 0-19 Early Help Service delivers interventions to children, young people and families across the borough. The post holder will provide flexible, practical and evidenced based support to children and their families utilising a range of strengths-based approaches to build resilience and promote improved outcomes and life opportunities.
The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating and leading on the event planning, administration requirements and maintaining the Barnet Youth and BACE programmes during holidays ensuring inclusion of all eligible young people to access opportunities. They will take responsibility as operational lead on activity delivery for young people in Barnet as part of Barnet’s children and families Early Help service.
The post holder will also develop activity programmes including targeted programmes as part of BACE and Barnet Youth, meeting the needs of the most vulnerable groups of young people in Barnet who are considered at risk of poor outcomes. You will have experience of event management and delivering programmes, including administration support, activity planning, costing and resourcing. We expect our Team to use a range of evidenced-based approaches, to build resilience and promote improved outcomes and life opportunities.
You will need to have a robust understanding of safeguarding and be able to prioritise tasks, keep accurate records and have excellent communication and organisational skills.
