Staff Physician – Quick Care/Urgent Care Description We are seeking a Staff Physician for a full-time Quick Care/Urgent Care position in Las Vegas, Nevada. The physician will provide professional medical services and perform required administrative duties while caring for adult and pediatric patients . This is an at-will, exempt position that will serve at the pleasure of the CEO. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including an employer-paid Nevada PERS pension plan.

The medical center serves as the anchor hospital of the Las Vegas Medical District and provides a high level of care to promote successful patient outcomes. Department: Quick Care 24/7 Setting: Quick Care / Urgent Care Patient Population: Adults and Pediatrics Location: Las Vegas, NV Employment: Full-Time Position Status: At-Will Classification: Exempt / Non-union Pension: Employer-paid Nevada PERS pension plan Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Compensation: Salary: $112.55–$147.44 per hour Employer-paid Nevada PERS pension plan Job Responsibilities Provide professional physician services in the Quick Care/Urgent Care setting.

Evaluate and treat adult and pediatric patients. Provide appropriate medical care based on patient needs. Develop and implement appropriate care plans. Make effective clinical decisions during stressful and emergency circumstances. Provide appropriate referrals and coordinate with outside agencies when necessary. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Follow department and facility safety procedures.

Follow infection control policies and procedures. Respect and protect patient rights. Follow emergency response procedures. Perform required administrative duties. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare personnel. Communicate effectively with individuals from diverse socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. Use medical equipment, supplies, and related technology efficiently, effectively, and safely.

Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of medicine . Some positions may require two years of clinical practice experience . Valid Nevada medical license — required. Nevada State Pharmacy Board License to prescribe medications — required. DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate — required. BLS certification accepted by the American Heart Association (AHA) — required.
