Staff Physician – Family/Internal Medicine | Urgent Care Description We are seeking a Staff Physician trained in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine to provide professional physician services in a Quick Care/Urgent Care setting in Las Vegas, Nevada . The physician will provide medical care to adult and pediatric patients , perform common urgent care procedures, develop appropriate care plans, and provide effective patient-centered medical services.

The position also includes required administrative responsibilities. This is a permanent, full-time, at-will position and may close without notice once a sufficient number of qualified applications are received. About the facility This position is based at an East Charleston Quick Care location within an academic medical center serving Southern Nevada. The medical center serves as the anchor hospital of the Las Vegas Medical District and provides a broad range of high-level medical services.

It is home to Nevada's only nonprofit Level I Trauma Center, Verified Burn Center, and Multi-Organ Transplant Center . In 2026, it became the first and only Magnet®-recognized hospital in Nevada . Setting: Quick Care / Urgent Care Patient Population: Adults and Pediatrics Location: Las Vegas, NV Position Type: Full-Time Employment Status: At-Will Union Status: Exempt / Non-union eligible Pension: Employer-paid Nevada PERS pension plan Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Compensation: Annual Salary: $234,104–$306,675.20 Employer-paid Nevada PERS pension plan Job Responsibilities Provide professional physician services in a Quick Care/Urgent Care setting.

Evaluate and treat adult and pediatric patients. Perform common urgent care procedures. Develop appropriate patient care plans. Assess patients' medical, social, and emotional needs. Provide effective and efficient medical care. Make appropriate patient referrals when necessary. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Follow infection control and patient safety practices.

Make effective clinical decisions during stressful and emergency circumstances. Perform required administrative duties. Maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals. Follow applicable federal, state, local, and accreditation laws, regulations, and standards. Safely and effectively use medical equipment, supplies, and related technology. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of medicine .

Successful completion of a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine training program accredited by ACGME or its equivalent . Board Certification with maintenance of certification (MOC) or Board Eligibility — required. Valid Nevada medical license — required. Nevada State Pharmacy Board License to prescribe medications — required. DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate — required.

BLS certification accepted by the American Heart Association (AHA) — required. Some positions may require 2 years of clinical practice experience . Must be comfortable performing common urgent care procedures . Working Hours Full-Time Quick Care/Urgent Care coverage. Position is at-will and serves at the pleasure of the CEO. The position may close without notice once a sufficient number of qualified applications are received.
