Description: Position SummaryDwyerOmega is seeking experienced Machine Operators for our Wire/Respool and Connection/Automation production areas. These positions operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, inspect products, complete production records, and support safety, quality, and productivity goals. Requirements: Machine Operator – Wire/RespoolOperates wire-processing equipment, including respool, taping, wrapping, braiding, NEB, and Wardwell machines.Training and Shift: This position trains on 1st shift for the first 6 months and then moves to 3rd shift.Key ResponsibilitiesRead work orders and set up wire-processing equipment.Adjust speed, tension, wire length, and spool size.Load and thread wire reels using appropriate lifting equipment.Inspect wire and verify sizes using micrometers and Acromag equipment.Identify defects and complete production records and finished-goods tags.Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.Follow safety, quality, 5S, and Lean procedures.Assist with training entry-level operators after 6 months of service.Train on additional equipment to prepare for advancement to Machine Operator II.Additional RequirementsKnowledge of wire, metal types, calibration, and color codes.Ability to lift 35 lbs.
