Job Details Position: Interventional Cardiology Locum Tenens Physician Location: Mechanicsville, Virginia (Richmond-area healthcare job) Setting: Inpatient and call coverage Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: ASAP Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts Hours Per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,990 - $8,280 Schedule: Weekdays with onsite coverage, weekday evening call, and weekend call coverage Patient Population: Adults and geriatric patients EMR: EPIC Credentialing: Emergency or temporary privileges may be available Job Requirements Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology Active Virginia medical license required BLS and ACLS required Clean malpractice history required Self-Query NPDB report required at presentation, pulled within 30 days Must be available for the listed dates with no exceptions Ability to provide at least 50 interventional case logs from the past 12 months Minimum of 1 year of interventional cardiology experience required Responsibilities Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage and locum tenens call support Evaluate and manage adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiovascular needs Perform and interpret interventional cardiology procedures, including PCI and coronary angiography Complete balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, heart catheterizations, atherectomy, and embolic protection procedures as needed Support carotid artery stenting and medical management of vascular disease Participate in rounding responsibilities when needed Collaborate with the cardiology team to ensure timely, high-quality patient care Respond to emergent STEMI and unassigned call coverage as part of the locum tenens schedule Why Consider This Virginia Locum Tenens Opportunity?
