DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW The Arts Division offers technical training, aesthetic development and historical, theoretical and critical studies in the history of art and visual cultures, dance, design/technology, drama, film and digital media, creative technologies, games and playable media, art, and music to all undergraduates as well as to undergraduate majors and graduate students. The division is comprised of departments and programs of study, organized research units, and instructional and research programs designed to attract and retain a diverse population of students and to support a variety of support programs and facilities.
More information can be found at:https://arts.ucsc.edu JOB SUMMARY Under the general supervision of the Human Resources Director, this position is responsible for the administration and implementation of departmental personnel services in the Arts Division. The incumbent works independently and as a cooperative member of the departmental administrative support staff team, and is responsible for collaborating with departments and other campus units to deliver efficient and effective personnel services and ensure compliance with policy and procedures.
APPOINTMENT INFORMATION Budgeted Salary: $36.87 - $39.80/hourly. Salary commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience. Under California law, the University of California, Santa Cruz is required to post a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The salary shown above is the budgeted amount the University reasonably expects to pay and the salary extended should not exceed this posted amount.
