Responsibilities Own accounts receivable, accounts payable, expense management, and vendor administration Manage premium accounts receivable from brokers, including invoicing and collections Execute spend-management automation and employee expense reimbursements Support bordereau assembly, premium reconciliation, and carrier payment operations Administer annual company audits, carrier financial requests, and R&D tax credits Prepare recurring carrier partner reporting packages and financial summaries Build and deploy AI agents to automate cash application, reconciliation, and payment processing Requirements 5-7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Working knowledge of GAAP and STAT (Statutory Accounting Principles) Hands-on experience with ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and AP platforms (e.g., Ramp, Bill.com) Proven track record of using AI tools to redesign accounting workflows Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in insurance, insurtech, or fintech Progress toward or interest in pursuing a CPA Benefits Fully remote workplace with home office allowance Unlimited vacation and no working birthdays Health, Dental, and Vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan and stock options Wellness and book stipends Professional development reimbursement About the Company Counterpart is the first Agentic Insurance platform, combining insurance expertise with cutting-edge AI to deliver tailored management and professional liability solutions.
