WE ARE HIRING ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE A Day in the Life of the Role Monitor daily cash collection at Mc Currie showrooms with the help of POS system, with reference to cash invoices raised and check whether it is promptly deposited. Check whether invoices raised by Lanka Spice are correctly GRN at the Showrooms, POS system. Agree credit card sales with bank statements and pass the necessary journal entries to accounts for the bank commission.
Pass all Journal entries related to showrooms in POS ERP system. Perform all credit card reconciliation and bank reconciliation. Maintain Fixed Assets register. Reconciliation of all other balance sheet and cash accounts. Preparation of showroom wise and month wise P&L with last year comparative figures and other management information. Setup discount structures as required by the sales division.
What Helps You Succeed Part Qualification in ICA, CIMA, ACCA or completed AAT or an accounting degree or similar qualification. Minimum 3 years' experience working in an ERP system with Point of Sale (POS) in the Accounts Division of a recognized commercial establishment & preference would be given to those who have Modern Trade (Super Market) experience. Computer literate with an ability to use applications such as, excel, word, google sheets, WhatsApp, & email.
Good communication and follow-up skills verbally and in writing, in monitoring the showrooms. Working knowledge of English. Persevering and hardworking and willing to meet deadlines. Preference would be given to those who have performed extracurricular activities at school or university. Preference would be given to those living in and around Makumbura, Pannipitiya.
